I am a member of the Department of Mathematics at Ryerson University. I am also an adjunct professor in the department of Mathematics at Carleton University. My research interest is in Combinatorial Design Theory and Graph Theory and is supported by an NSERC grant. I am a member of the Graphs at Ryerson research group G@R.

I am a member of the School of graduate studies; Ryerson Mathematics has a Masters in Applied Mathematics, please contact me if you are interested in working with me as your supervisor.

I am the Chair of the Negotiating Committee of the Ryerson Faculty Association. In this capacity I serve on the Faculty Associations Executive and am responsible for negotiating the RFA Collective Agreement.

Research

The general objective of my research is to develop our understanding of graphs and designs through the investigation of their substructure. This includes the application of such structures to, software and network testing, discrete scheduling problems and analysis of algorithms. I am also interested in the history and philosophy of mathematics.
