The goal of the seminar:

The goal of the Undergraduate Mathematics Seminar is to give students the opportunity to gain experience in presenting research topics, motivate students to become interested in mathematics and encourage participation in research. These talks will provide students with better ideas of how mathematics and mathematical tools are applied to scientific problems. This seminar will be open to all students in the faculty of science, and we welcome all at Ryerson who are interested to participate and attend. If you have been doing research or working on interesting problems on mathematics and/or its applications, and would like to give presentations about your work, please contact a member of the organizing committee for further information. We encourage students to participate in this seminar as it is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in giving presentations, and public speaking.
