Scholarships


Women in Mathematics Undergraduate Award Up to $1,000
To be eligible for this award a student must be registered as a full-time undergraduate student in a mathematics program in the Department of Mathematics in the second, third or fourth year and beyond of the program and have a clear academic standing; must achieve a minimum CGPA of 3.00; and must demonstrate an outstanding contribution to the lives of women in the mathematics programs. Students will submit a letter outlining their involvement in student activities in terms of leadership and volunteering within the department and Ryerson University as a whole, providing any supporting material or reference letters in support of this application.

C. Roy Horney Award Up to $1,000
To be eligible for this award a student must be registered as a full-time undergraduate student in a mathematics program in the Department of Mathematics in the fourth year of the program and have a clear academic standing; must achieve a minimum CGPA of 3.00 at the end of the third year of study; and must demonstrate an outstanding contribution to the athletic life and/or student life in activities such as involvement in varsity sports, course unions or other clubs and organizations at Ryerson University. Students will submit a letter of up to 250 words outlining their involvement in student activities and/or athletics at Ryerson University, providing any supporting material or reference letters in support of this application.
